Features
Describe the sound. Your whole library answers.

- Fast language search
- Ask for a sound the way you’d say it across the room. It’s in your hands in seconds, across hundreds of thousands of samples.
- Scoped search
- Point it where you want to look. That drive from 2024. Results still show when it isn’t plugged in.
- Show similar
- Click any result and follow the thread as far as you want.
- Hear in sync with project
- Drag and drop when you’re done, or connect the Orbit Sampler Plugin to hear it in the mix.
Get a starter kit for the sound you’re chasing. Built from your own material.

- Record on the fly
- Hit record while anything plays. Orbit builds the kit from your library as you listen.
- References and old bounces
- Drop in a track you love, or a bounce whose project is long gone. Orbit finds the sounds to rebuild it from your own samples.
No need to manage anything. Orbit remembers.

- Session memory
- Every sample you audition, every session it lands in, every bounce from every project. Remembered.
- Cross DAW
- Works with any DAW.
Local. Secure. Private.
Orbit runs locally on your machine. Nothing is uploaded. Your library isn’t used to train anything online and it remains yours forever.
FAQ
Is Orbit training on my music?
No. Nothing leaves your machine and nothing you make is used to train anything. The intelligence runs locally and works only for you.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Indexing, search and matching all run on your machine, so Orbit keeps working with the wifi off. Your audio is never uploaded, ever.
What do I need to run it?
A Mac on macOS 15 or later with Apple Silicon — an M1 or newer. Orbit sits alongside whatever DAW you already work in rather than replacing it, and the Pro sampler plugin loads straight into your session.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. There's a refund button in the app. Use it within 30 days of purchase and your money is back the same day.
Do I have to wait 14 days to buy Pro?
No. You can buy Orbit Pro at any point, including before you install. The current price is shown in the pricing section above. There is a refund button in the app if you change your mind within 30 days.
What happens after the 14 days?
Nothing breaks and nothing is deleted. Orbit carries on as Orbit Lite, free, so you keep unlimited indexing, Language Search, Similarity Search and Scoped Search for as long as you like. Match, Recall, voice control and the sampler plugin switch off until you buy Pro. Your index stays exactly as it was.
How big a library can it handle?
Hundreds of thousands of samples. Indexing runs in the background and only touches new files after the first pass.
Is Orbit Pro a subscription?
No. One payment, yours to keep. There is no renewal and your library is never held on our side.
Is there a Windows version?
Not yet. Add your email to the Windows list and we will tell you when it is ready.
